We're looking for a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to join our Engineering department in Malmö. You'll take ownership of our cloud-based infrastructure and help us build a solid foundation for multi-region growth, all while keeping things simple, deliberate, and done right.

About this role

This is a hands-on, senior individual contributor role. You'll report directly to the engineering leadership team and have real ownership over our infrastructure. We're a small, opinionated team that values doing things correctly over doing them fast. We want someone who shares that mindset: someone who thinks carefully, communicates clearly, and takes pride in building things that last.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and maintain our Kubernetes clusters running on AWS (EKS), including monitoring, patching, and continuous improvement

• Architect and implement multi-region capabilities to support our growing global customer base

• Manage and improve our deployment pipelines across development and production environments

• Work with managed services including MongoDB, Elasticsearch, and Redis

• Collaborate closely with our engineering team on infrastructure decisions, balancing speed with long-term sustainability

• Identify and drive improvements to reliability, security, and operational efficiency across our platform

Required Skills & Attributes

• Significant hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production

• Strong understanding of AWS services, networking, and cloud architecture

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or similar)

• Comfortable working independently and owning decisions, while keeping stakeholders in the loop

• You prefer doing things right over doing things fast, and you can articulate the trade-offs

• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset

Preferred Background

• Experience with multi-region or multi-tenant architectures

• Familiarity with managed database services

• Experience in a SaaS or scale-up environment

• Exposure to cost optimization and resource planning in AWS

Educational Requirements

No specific degree required. We care about what you can do, not what's on your diploma. Relevant experience and a strong track record matter most.
